How to request SARTI for a search emergency:
If you are reporting someone missing: Call 911 immediately!
In a missing person emergency SARTI can be requested by having the Responsible Agency call:

Tell the communications officer that you have a search and rescue emergency, and specifically ask for tracking resources.
